I learned that saving for retirement early is very important. If you start late, you won't have enough money for a nice life after you're done working.

MoneyU made learning about financial literacy
I learned the meaning of a Credit Score and proper use of credit cards. It was also helpful to learn more about debts and the importance of paying them. MoneyU made learning about financial literacy so much less painful than an actual class.

I feel that I had a good experience with MoneyU

It was definitely interesting and educational!
I think everyone should have to take this. There was so much I didn't know regarding financial issues like credit cards, loans, savings, debt, and interest rates. The program was creative and it was nowhere near as boring as I thought it would be. It was definitely interesting and educational!

There is no way I will ever go broke after this.
I vaguely understood personal finance in the beginning of MoneyU. Now, I feel like I was totally exposed to every aspect of personal finance and I'm ready to get a deeper understanding by applying all the knowledge into my everyday life. There is no way I will ever go broke after this.

I wanted to let you know how wonderful I think this product is!
I wanted to let you know how wonderful I think this product is! As a member of the MA Financial Planning Association, I help educators help kids learn basic financial concepts. My experience in the classroom has shown that the kids really like this stuff and learn quickly. Keeping them engaged is the trick. I think your web-based program hits that mark on the head.

Making a budget is a good way
I now realize how easy it is to spend more than you originally planned. Making a budget is a good way to ensure that you spend what you intended to and reduce the amount of impulse purchases.

It would have taken forever without it and it helped me remember better.
I knew almost nothing about taxes and even though I didn't enjoy filling out the 1040EZ form, it was good for me to do it! I'm glad you gave us the answers so we would know the right answers the next time around. It would have taken forever without it and it helped me remember better.

This course is freaking awesome. I feel I have become much more financially savvy.
This course is freaking awesome; I hope other colleges are doing this. I learned a great deal about money management and what I need to do in order to make my money grow: having emergency savings, having a savings account, paying my bills on time, taking on good debt like for my education, and investing in my money for the future because at some point I need to take risks. I feel I have become much more financially savvy.

Superb
This innovative program [is] especially relevant in times of financial instability. Judges appreciated its mix of information and interactivity, as well as its superb feedback and assessment tools. MoneyU not only presents engaging graphics, movies, and activities, but also helps learners increase their knowledge of personal finances…something that will undoubtedly come in handy as they enter the work force.
